The Macallan TIME : SPACE 84-Year-Old is a highly limited, dual-chamber release launched in autumn 2024 to celebrate the distillery’s 200th anniversary.

Only 200 sets exist worldwide—one for every year of The Macallan’s history.

The unique, retro-futuristic dual-chamber vessel houses two contrasting whiskies meant to capture the past and the future of the distillery:

• The Past (Outer Ring): An 84-year-old single malt distilled on January 1, 1940, and matured for over eight decades in two oak casks (43.4% ABV, 700ml)
• The Future (Inner Chamber): A 5-year-old single malt representing the inaugural vintage from the new Macallan distillery that opened in 2018, matured in sherry-seasoned casks (54.9% ABV, 350ml)
