Macallan M 2020 Release

In the 20th century, Macallan was mainly used in blends. However, during the market downturn of the 1980s, the distillery shifted focus to its single malts. This decision aligned with growing enthusiasm for the high-quality releases Macallan had licensed to Campbell, Hope & King and Gordon & MacPhail in the 1960s and 1970s. These releases are now some of the most collectible. As a result, Macallan opened a new distillery in 2018, a stunning subterranean facility within the Easter Elchies estate, featuring 36 copper pot stills.

The Macallan M Decanter exemplifies elegance. Designed by Fabien Baron, a renowned French Director and Art Director, and crafted by Lalique, it is a masterpiece. The decanter undergoes a complex 15-stage finishing process, making it one of the most challenging to produce.

Each year, Macallan M is a limited release that upholds the brand’s reputation for exceptional quality. The packaging includes a replacement crystal stopper, enhancing its exclusivity.
