This single malt offers a delightful whisky and chocolate pairing, elevating The Macallan experience to a new dimension.
Fine Cacao
The Macallan and Polly Logan identified a specific chocolate note in The Macallan’s sherry-seasoned European oak casks. They then combined it with a vanilla note from sherry-seasoned American oak casks to sweeten the chocolate’s bitterness. This expression provides an exceptional whisky and chocolate pairing, enhancing The Macallan experience.
Intense Arabica
The Macallan ‘Inspired by Intense Arabica’ celebrates the coffee world and the journey of the coffee bean. Collaborating with coffee experts, The Macallan combines knowledge and creativity to bring this concept to life. They’ve used discarded coffee husks to create an innovative presentation box for this unique whisky. Steven Bremner, our whisky maker, drew inspiration from Arabica coffee, resulting in a whisky aged in European and American oak casks. This process delivers notes reminiscent of a richly sweet yet strong espresso.
Smooth Arabica
The Macallan ‘Inspired by Intense Arabica’ highlights the coffee world and its journey. By collaborating with coffee experts, The Macallan blends creativity and expertise to bring this concept to fruition.
