The single cask expression was a highly exclusive release, primarily available at specific bars and hotels within London (like The Macallan Manor House at Rosewood London) and The Macallan Estate bar, designed to be paired with unique gastronomic experiences created by the Roca brothers.

It was distilled on November 27, 2008, matured in a single European oak sherry puncheon (cask #21853), and bottled on February 20, 2020, at 62.9% ABV. Only 465 bottles of this precise single cask were produced.
