- Lagavulin Distillers Edition. The Islay giants have double matured their spirit in Pedro Ximénez seasoned American oak casks, bringing bursts of sweet fruits which perfectly complement the signature coastal smokiness of their liquid. Bottled at 43% abv.Expect waves of earthy peat on the nose, along with hints of fig and vanilla bean. The palate brings maritime smoke, salted caramel and sherry, with a lingering finish full of oak spice and peat.
- Lagavulin 16 Year Old. The Islay representative in the ‘Classic Malts’ series is a deep, dry and exceptionally peaty bruiser. Probably the most pungent of all Islay malts, Lagavulin is not for the faint-hearted but inspires fanatical devotion in its many followers.
