Johnnie Walker’s Blue Label Brora / Ghost and Rare 1st Edition is a rare and premium release. This edition is part of the Ghost and Rare series, which highlights Scotland’s lost distilleries. The first release features malt from the legendary Brora, a distillery that closed its doors in 1983. It also includes malt from the now-closed Speyside distillery Pittyvaich and Cambus grain, which shut down in 2002 and 1993, respectively.

Since Brora ceased operations in 1983, this whisky comes from casks distilled over 34 years ago. Master blender Jim Beveridge notes, “Whiskies from these ghost distilleries are becoming increasingly rare. From our exclusive library of casks for Johnnie Walker Blue Label, I’ve selected uniquely full-bodied expressions of these precious malts and grains. This allows people to explore the extraordinary richness of our pinnacle whisky in a new way.”
