Johnnie Walker Aged 52 Years is the oldest and rarest expression ever released in the brand’s history. Originally debuted in December 2024, this ultra-exclusive luxury blended Scotch whisky was created by Master Blender Dr. Emma Walker.
The whisky was specifically crafted to honor the lifetimes of the brand’s founder, John Walker, and his son, Alexander Walker. The number 52 is a direct tribute to a unique historical coincidence: both men passed away at the age of 52.
Ultra-Limited Production: Only 200 bottles were produced worldwide.
The expression is bottled at 41.2% ABV. It masterfully fuses six rare single malts and two single grain whiskies, several of which come from legendary, long-closed “ghost distilleries”:
- Lowland Single Grains (Ghost): Cambus (closed 1993) and Carsebridge (closed 1983).
- Highland Single Malts (Ghost): Brora, Glenury Royal, Glenlochy, and Glen Albyn.
- Active Highland Single Malts: Blair Athol and Dalwhinnie
