Overview

Dalmore’s The Trio marks the first step in the Ensemble Collection journey. This triple cask finish showcases balance, depth, and sophistication. Matured in three exceptional casks, it delivers ripe plum and berry flavors, balanced by a hint of sweet spice.

Maturation Process

The Trio undergoes a unique maturation process. It starts in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, which impart soft vanilla and honey notes. The whisky then matures in a mix of first-fill ex-bourbon casks, 10-Year-Old Tawny port pipes, and 30-Year-Old Matusalem sherry casks. Afterward, the whisky is blended to achieve harmony.

Tasting Notes

The result is a captivating single malt with rich, full flavors. It features ripe plums, berries, and sweet spices. This expression is an excellent introduction to Dalmore’s Single Malt range.
