The Dalmore King Alexander III

The Dalmore King Alexander III exemplifies the art of cask curation with its unique approach. It is the world’s first single malt to use six different cask finishes. The whisky begins its maturation in American white oak ex-Bourbon casks. Next, it is divided among small batch ex-Bourbon casks, Matusalem Oloroso Sherry casks, Madeira barrels, Marsala casks, Port pipes, and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques. Finally, these components blend together in a Sherry butt to achieve harmony.
