Tasting Notes

Ardbeg Uigeadail combines Ardbeg’s signature deep, smoky notes with the rich, raisiny tones from old ex-Sherry casks. Pronounced “Oog-a-dal,” this whisky takes its name from the enigmatic loch that supplies the peat-laden water essential to its creation.

Production

Unlike most whiskies, which are chill-filtered and reduced to 40% ABV, Ardbeg Uigeadail is non-chill-filtered and bottled at a higher strength of 54.2% ABV. This process preserves the full flavor, adding body and depth.
