The second chapter in Laphroaig’s Laphroaig Ian Hunter Book 1 – 30 years, matured for three decades in Spanish oak oloroso sherry casks. Typically peaty, the nose also offers notes of dates, figs, rich cigar smoke, liquorice and dark chocolate. The palate offers notes of orange peel, manuka honey and smoked stone fruits, with waves of peat smoke in the background.
